Our operation in Japan is small but growing fast. We dramatically increased the size of our business with the acquisition of Muse, a key antibacterial brand. We concentrate on sales and marketing and have a small but dedicated team driving this growth from Tokyo.
Japan features prominently on the global agenda for growth. In particular, heavy investment in the key markets of Japan and East Asia is enabling us to grow our portfolio and increase our presence in the country, particularly in terms of our four strongest brands. Our three traditionally strongest brands in Japan. We are also actively working on the qualification of our brands for roll-out in the country in the near future. We offer strong career paths in commercial functions especially in finance, sales and marketing as these form the basis of our business in Japan (we have no local manufacturing facilities).
