The successful candidate will be the central source of competitive strategy and knowledge across all competitive offerings in market for the Cloud Infrastructure Management （CIM） and End User Computing （EUC） portfolio of solutions.

They will be a passionate technology advocate with the ability to quickly identify product differentiation and value, and be able to communicate this effectively to a broad audience.
They will be a pivotalliaison point between the Competitive BU and Japan region to support the successful execution of expansion plans across Japan.
They will be a key part of the APJ Product Marketing Team and support the delivery of a structured framew ork of tactical and strategic competitive insights that help the field sales organization win competitive selling opportunities.
This candidate will be the subject matter expert across competitive solutions and our competitive strategy across Japan.
Role Specific Experience and Skills
－ Significant experience with the Cloud Infrastructure and Management （CIM） as w ell as End User Computing （EUC） fields of technology, preferably w ith a background based in product marketing or sales engineer is desirable
－ Solid competitive know ledge of primarily Cloud Infrastructure and Management technologies, but also EUC
－ An ability to quickly understand and compare competitive offerings and position clear competitive differentiation and value propositions
－ An understanding of netw orking technologies and operating systems
－ Know ledge and skills in providing applications support, making technical or sales presentations to C level executives, customers and partners at industry events.
－ Know ledge and experience of CIM and EUC technology channels.
－ Strong influencing and negotiating skills across different stakeholders across Japan
－ Ideally possess firsthand experience w ith a primary competitor of are Education
－ Qualification to degree level in marketing, business or computer science with post graduate studies desirable
