Marketing is looking for a candidate to join the Global 500 field marketing team. This position will play a leadership role in the development and execution of the segment’s industry solution marketing strategy. This person will work closely with the leaders of the sales organization to develop and execute integrated marketing and communications plans and market－growth strategies. This position’s responsibilities fall into three primary areas: business planning and market development, demand generation and sales enablement. Base location listed as Bracknell although London or any major UK city considered.
Business Planning and Marketing Development
The Solutions Marketing Manager will deliver an integrated marketing plan partnering with finance, business intelligence and the sales leaders driving a specific vertical, region and or product
The marketing manager will utilize industry sources to understand market trends and opportunities within Global 500 validating findings through sales ＆ customer interaction.
Develop marketing plays and promotions that create sales－opportunities, and or implement plays designed by specific product teams
Drive overall solution marketing, including budget recommendations, roadmap planning, marcom, demand gen and sales enablement
Foster third－party relationships and programs with key solution partners and channel
As a primary marketing contact for the Sales leadership team, this person must maintain close communication through team meetings, conference calls, 1x1 meetings and through various one－to－many communications tools including social media
Drive use of sales tools and resources, and follow－up on lead gen activities and account plays through SFDC.
Communicate marketing plans, updates, additions to sales resources, competitive info, market intelligence, etc.
Work closely with Sales teams to understand their needs and the needs of customers so marketing resources can be better used to address them.
Serve as SME, engaging in customer briefings, conference calls, and proposals as needed.
