Job Summary
As a Tokyo based Sales Account Manager, you will sell software/solutions and related services like training and consulting to both new and existing customers in academia (mainly universities). You will manage the entire sales process; prospect qualification, proof of concept delivery, and value justification. You will also be responsible for developing and executing strategic territory account plans. This will include the allocation of appropriate technical sales support and marketing resources as appropriate.
Responsibilities
•Work with existing customers to expand the adoption of products.
•Through various means of prospecting, identify new potential customers who have yet to adopt tool offerings.
•Effectively present our technical/business value propositions to existing and potential clients.
•Monitor the progress of sales opportunity throughout the sales process including funnel/pipeline management and forecasting.
•Contribute to World Wide EDU teams to develop and implement account specific strategies.
•Meet monthly/quarterly/annual revenue objectives.

応募資格 Qualifications Required / Preferred
•Bachelor’s Degree is required.
•Minimum 7 years direct sales experience
•Sales experience in academia is highly preferred.
•Software for academic research or teaching selling experience is preferred.
•Technical software package selling experience is also preferred.
•Demonstrated success managing business using CRM system.
•Proven record of accomplishment and over-achievement of performance objectives
•Business level English communication skills in speaking and in writing (TOEIC 650 or equivalent)
