Job summary
is seeking a Virtualization Solution Sales Professional to grow and develop our Enterprise Virtualization business by working closely with our most strategic customers to deliver Virtualization and Cloud solutions that meet their unique needs. The ideal candidate should have experience hunting in Fortune 500 accounts and experience selling virtualization and Cloud solutions.
The primary goals of this position are to
a) Break into net new accounts for RHEV via POC and pilots
b) Ensure that RHEV gets utilized in production environments and that RHEV becomes the strategic choice for Virtualization and the customer becomes a public reference.
c) Guide the customer from initially adopting virtualization to a private, hybrid and public cloud utilizing technologies and services
The Virtualization Sales Professional will also collaborate with the sales teams, overachieve goals and accurately forecast pipeline activity.
Primary job responsibilities
Key Responsibilities Include:
•Work closely with the Enterprise Sales Account teams to identify key accounts, assist in the creation of account plans, and execute on those strategic plans.
•Attain "trusted advisor" status with senior IT and business executives within key accounts with the goal of creating a long-term partnership with customers.

The Virtualization Sales Professional will have a strong background in selling complex customer solutions in a rapidly evolving technology domain. The successful candidate will have a minimum of eight years of solution sales experience, with at least four of those years specifically focused on Enterprise Virtualization, and a proven track record of working closely with customers to deliver solutions that exceed their technical and business expectations.
Additional Qualifications:
•8+ years of experience in a Solution Sales role with at least 4 of those years focused on Enterprise Virtualization. (WK: experience in systems management space is critical, pure virtualization is secondary)
•Broad and deep technical experience with enterprise virtualization technologies (e.g. Enterprise Virtualization, VMWare vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, Citrix XenServer, etc.) (WK: The SSP doesn’t have to have deep technical experience. A good high level understanding of the value prop is enough. More important are exec level sales skills)
•Outstanding verbal and written communications skills, including extensive experience presenting to C-level executives at large firms.
•Solutions sales mentality in an environment with multiple products and services.
•Proven ability to work seamlessly with global cross-functional teams to achieve success on behalf of customers.
•Strong balance of strategic and tactical skills, with a high level of intellectual agility and capacity for original thought.
•MBA or equivalent strongly preferred.
