In order to attain further growth in Japan market, is eager to reinforce the current organization by recruiting an outstanding individual for the position of Sales Director.(MFG Automotive, Hi Tech, Insurance, TTH (Travel, Tourism, and Hospitality), Pharma, or Telecom)
The candidate will add value to by delivering a well-managed, profitable and growing business produced through relationship and sales excellence practices.
Reporting directly to the president of Japan
The candidate will oversee the sales team to deliver the best service for the account.
Its specific responsibilities include:
- Develop a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy for the responsible account and coordinate its implementation in order to expand the business
- Aggressively maintain/develop customer relationships by presenting appropriate solutions and assisting the customer to differentiate itself in the global industry
- Meet target revenue, profit and cash goals
- Identify and implement new business opportunities and business growth strategies
- Build a successful team as a result of recruiting, developing and training people in order to transform the organization into a truly leading player
- Cultivate cross- departmental relationships by working closely with other sales teams and other divisions such as Pre-sales, BDM (Business Development Manager) and BRM (Business Relationship Manager) of the Japanese operation.
- Communicate regularly with global counterparts to inform them of local market trends, opportunities and issues, and ensure that the worldwide strategy is correctly implemented in Japanese market

- An outgoing executive with a strong sales background and a proven track record at a leading IT company and/or an IT consulting or services company
- A solid understanding of the business model of the client’s industry as well as IT service
- Proven track record in conducting sales towards any of the following industry domains: Manufacturing Automotive, Hi Tech, Insurance, TTH (Travel, Transportation, and Hospitality), Pharma, or Telecom
- Aggressive and focused on achieving sales objectives/quotas
- A customer-focused individual with solid knowledge and experience in customer management practices
- Proactive and keen at acquiring business
- Capable of balancing strong leadership with the ability to be a team player
- Possesses strong executive presence and recognition, both internally and externally
- Having logical thinking, being as fast learner and quick decision maker with intellectual and analytic sense
- Understanding on global delivery model would be a plus
- Experience working in multinational and matrix organizations
- Familiar with Western/Japanese business methods as well as possess English fluency in order to effectively communicate with global counterparts
- A bachelor’s degree is required and an MBA/master’s degree would be preferred
- Positive Attitude
