仕事内容

Job responsibilities:
•Responsible for short and long-term profitable business for by being part of or work closely with the sales team (Core 3) to translate the customer needs, and technology opportunities into detailed technical offering, solutions and proposals.
•Responsible for analyzing, designing and developing commercially viable end-to-end technical cloud management solutions (e.g.: Virtual Infrastructure Management, Virtual Data Center Management, Virtual Application Management) for the customers.
•Responsible for helping the customer build their technical strategy toward cloud management evolution, regarding relevant business impact, including business process impact, service flow & functionality impact, as well as security impact.
•Responsible for developing Cloud management business plans, and output deliverables.(eg: Suggestion on business flow & organization impact)
Job Tasks:
•Conduct in-depth discussions with customers regarding strategy and key challenges of cloud system deployment, management & operation
•Develop & perform technical presentations and workshops in cloud management/virtualization platform operation related topics
•Support RFx in cloud management, virtualization resource allocation, cloud operation/SLA related tendering
•Analyze customer technology, business plan, business environment & requirements with regards to cloud and virtualization management, focus on customer improvement areas and challenges related to virtualization and business (eg: NFV, SDN, Cloud service orchestration & automation, service SLA definition etc)
•Contribute to business case modeling activities for cloud, including concepts such as resource utilization, scaling out and OPEX benefits of automation.
•Build solutions based on Cloud management products in combination with commercially available 3PP
•Monitor or be part of R&D activities in cloud management, and provide product feedback to Product Line
•Lead prototype and demo development teams, provide input and requirements and perform cloud management demos in front of customer
Provide insight on how new trends will affect customer/business, current and future technology & operations, especially in telecom domain

Minimum Qualification and experience requirements:
•At least 10 years of experience in interaction with senior IT managers and C-level executives and facilitating clients in IT management settings; At least 8 years of experience in consulting in an ICT environment for OSS/BSS, Virtualization & Cloud services, Telecom industry related would be a plus.
•Vendor experience with regarding cloud management & hypervisor, also has a fundamental understanding of the virtualization management business drivers.
•Expertise of would be a strong advantage.
•Expertise of mainstream Cloud Management solution suite (power cloud, would be a plus
•Expertise in Cloud management for multiple platform & apps, including Software Defined Networks (SDN), Software Defined Data Centers (SDDC), Network Function Virtualization (NFV).
•Good understanding of Data Center transformation and IT automation, Security & process. Knowledge of integration of Virtualization management & legacy OSS/BSS system could be a great advantage.
•Experience and in depth understanding on the management and execution of projects for application development and migration for legacy IT system evolve to Cloud management platform
•Hands-on skill of cloud management system design, development & administration, also with deep understanding of software life cycle management (S-LCM), Cloud applications and their key characteristics.
•Deep understanding of various Cloud models (Public cloud, Private Cloud, Telecom Cloud) in at least one aspect of the Cloud or a general but “clear” understanding of the Cloud principles.
•Demonstrated proven track record with the will and ability to adopt and learn new technologies and business models.
•Proven track record of cross organization collaboration in creation of IT and Enterprise solutions, cloud management specific objects would be preferred.
•Detailed understanding of the cloud industry and market, familiar with IaaS, PaaS & SaaS, terms like scale-out, scale-up, scale-in, automation, cloud management.
•Expertise in web application design and experience on open source products is a plus
•MA or BA degree in CS, EE, or a related field
•Readiness to travel up to 75% annually
•Fluent English in case of non-Japanese
Business English (TOEIC 800) in case of Japanese
Preferred Skills:
•Fluent Japanese (JPLT-1) in case of non-Japanese
•Ability to work with uncertainties and to quickly adapt to changing requirements
•Ability to quickly learn new technology areas or do research on detailed technical topics
