仕事内容

The primary role of a Systems Engineer is to provide technical sales support to
assigned sales objectives. (学術系・大学などの担当SE)
Serve as a technical resource for the regional sales effort.
SE candidates should possess broad overall industry experience and technical
knowledge as well as subject-matter expertise.
A particular level of expertise would be in the Enterprise Networking and Security space
with relevant experience.
1.Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain:
2. Core competency on Juniper product lines, with special focus on our
Enterprise product lines and technologies
Product knowledge of Juniper key competitors.
3. Provides technical support in sales presentations, in a very competitive and
challenging sales environment, including setting up a technical agenda.
4. Act as subject-matter expert in pre-sales design reviews and serve as authoritative
consultant to customers and partners.
5 Participate with SE and sales peers to lead the design and architecture of Secured
and Assured Enterprise Networks.
6 Understands, develops and delivers solutions to customer's business, in line with
his technical needs. Qualify the technical challenges and requirements in order to
create superior solutions in competitive environments by leveraging all aspects of
product line.
7 Develop accurate and relevant test plans together with his SE peers, in order to
build POC (Proof Of Concept) labs, as part of the sales cycle.
8 Provide training and support to our channels and customers System Engineers as
required, including answering RFP’s & RFQ’s when necessary.
9 Positive attitude, a desire to learn new technologies and the ability to handle
interruptions, in a very challenging environment.
10 Must be able to travel.

応募資格 General Background and Experience:
1 Minimum of 8+ years experience in technical/pre-sales support as a Sales or
Systems Engineer.
2 3+ years experience in LAN/WAN/Internet services in Enterprise Networks.
3 Knowledge on Enterprise routing
4 Solid understanding of general networking principles and technologies such as:
o Switching and Routing and the OSI model
o Firewalls & VPN
o QoS
5 Expert level knowledge of common networking protocols and technologies such as:
o Firewalls
o IPSec
o IPS
o TCP/IP
o OSPF
o RIP
6Excellent communication and presentation skills including speaking well in front of
large audiences
7 Ability and competence to:
o Write technical material and white papers using applications such as Power
Point, Word, and Visio
o Work under pressure with rigorous time lines, and handle confrontation when
necessary
o Work independently with minimum supervision.
o Work with account managers and customers within the context of a
competitive sales environment.
8Industry Certifications such as Security Certification or other
industry security certifications is a plus.
