－ Work independently and as a member of a team of architects on engagements with Lighthouse customers, usually in a technical leadership role, or in a role as senior technical advisor
－ Architect and develop customer solutions based on current hands－on knowledge of the product line, storage, networking, management, and associated customer business processes. Specific emphasis on EUC related solutions such as: Horizon View, Workspace, Horizon Mirage, vCenter Operations for View, vCloud Networking ＆ Security, and vSphere, in addition to myriad third party products from partner ecosystem.
－ Provide architectural guidance and oversight into integration of products with third party products within customers IT environment: Active Directory, Windows Server and Desktop Operating Systems, desktop hardware devices, SAN/NAS storage, networking, systems management, capacity management and monitoring, high availability solutions, security infrastructures, etc.
－ Gather detailed business and technical requirements from customers and partners and create specifications that enable other consultants to implement precise solutions.
－ Participate in the pre－sales process to understand customer business and technical objectives and product requirements, in order to develop effective solutions
－ Advise customers on EUC related operational readiness matters such as: Financial controls, Service Orientation, Operations Control, and Infrastructure Control
－ Document best practices in developing and deploying solutions, and feed them into our knowledge base （Vault） and public blog for reuse by customers and partners.
－ Build and maintain the confidence of colleagues, managers, and customers.
－ Language requirements
o Must be fluent in English and Japanese, in both oral and written skills
－ Must have ability to work in a fast pace environment demonstrating autonomy in conforming to strategic intent while adhering to team values at all times
－ 12＋ years of relevant IT experience （desktop management, storage, networking, management, monitoring, security, performance, capacity, availability, databases）
－ 5＋ years experience in customer－facing positions as a professional services consultant, preferably with an IT software or hands－on consulting organization
－ 3＋ years experience in architecting, designing and deploying virtualized infrastructures, ideally with a special emphasis on vSphere （or VI3.5） and VMware View Manager 3 （or 4）
－ 5＋ years experience configuring, troubleshooting, and administering IT networking and SAN storage solutions
－ 5＋ years experience in infrastructure architecture and design of Active Directory and desktop systems deployment
－ Experience producing business relevant presentations and technical oriented writing is mandatory. Candidats must submit samples of writing and presentations
－ Technical knowledge of Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 and 8, Windows Server 2000/2003/2008/2012
－ Scripting ability with Powershell, VBScript, registry hacking, automated deployment techniques, and driver integration
－ Experience with application virtualization or electronic software distribution management systems （e.g., Microsoft SMS/SCCM）, especially VMware ThinApp a great advantage
－ Demonstrated project leadership experience
－ Understanding of computer server architectures, including Storage Area Networking （SAN）, networking topics （Cisco certified desired but optional）
－ Familiarity with systems management concepts, processes and standards （e.g. SNMP, JMX/mbeans）; capacity/performance management and tuning; and storage and network management
－ Understanding of modern IT production data center and Internet （ISP/ASP） hosting operations
－ Excellent communications and interpersonal skills, especially public speaking and presentation skills
－ Experience creating digital videos, especially using Camtasia or similar, is a definite advantage
－ Experience with Photoshop and Illustrator is an advantage
－ Ability to travel up to 60％ or more throughout home region （and occasionally internationally）. Maintaining a current and valid passport is required.
－ B.S./B.A./M.S. degree or equivalent technical training
－ Must be able to clearly articulate complex technical topics verbally in English. Fluency in additional languages is a definite plus.
