This is a engineer - level position in Managed Security Services business
responsible for the delivery of Security Management and Monitoring services to clients
world-wide. This position works as part of a Level 1 Service desk operations team located in
North Sydney Australia who are responsible for the performing Level 1 activities such as
ensuring availability and logging consistency of customer security devices such as firewalls,
Intrusion Detection Systems and End point antivirus applications. This individual will work as part
of a global team alternating day shift basis.
Primary responsibilities include:
ı Work within established practices and handling guidelines to triage client facing device
ı Available to respond to client requests and assist with troubleshooting activities.
ı Resolve standard/routine customer issues with no guidance and complex/unusual customer
issues with minimal guidance.
· Communicate effectively with variety of external customer contacts to include technical
contacts and executive contacts.
ı Capable of juggling variety of priorities and deliverables in an operational, interrupt driven
environment with minimal guidance or supervision
